Wouldn't it be easier and much more convenient if the crosshair would turn (lightish) green as soon as your weapons have the right convergence depending on the distance from you to what you are pointing on?

for example you are moving sideways and you are pointing to a mech far off. The distance indicator says 1600 meters. Your arms need to adjust to this distance (its a different arm angle than shooting something 100 meters in front of you). as soon as they adjust, the crosshair turns green.

And when implemented make the time it takes to make all weapons focus one single point a bit longer.

This would make pin-point alphas take longer to adjust BUT you would have a visual feedback when they are ready to fire and thus it wouldn't make anything better or worse but keep a good balance.

it doesn't need to be green, but just a bit different than the usual look of the crosshair/circle.

This is a pretty good idea. Not complicated at all, as opposed to many other solutions, but it seems to do its job. Perhaps the arm crosshair and torso crosshair can do this separately.

maybe a dashed circle / lines for crosshair when convergence is not established yet.
