I really wish PGI would open Clan Founder Programme before the Clan Invasion, i would buy Legendary Founder. I believe there are many of us also would buy. I miss the Founder Programme as i found out about MWO on November 2012, too bad ;)

makes zero sense to me to call it a "founder" program. the game is basically released. if you didn't participate in closed beta, then you aren't a founder in my opinion. maybe a clan boost pack would be a better name for getting a collection of clan mechs and some .

Well it doesn't have to be called a Founder Programme, they could call it "Whatever Programme". As you said for getting a collection of clan mechs.

Shouldn't be a founder's program. Founder's was closed months ago.

Should just be a package deal... for clan hero mechs.

Not really sold on the "Whatever Programme" either. Just doesn't have that... "je na sai pas" feel to it. ;)

I'm sure alot of people would like to be given the rewards for taking the risk of investing in MWO before it was known if it would be workable, without the need for taking the risk. This is what you are asking for, and it shows a serious lack of understanding as to what you are talking about.

The Founder's packages were 'thank you' items that were given in exchange for helping the game be developed into a viable release, and would have resulted in a complete loss (no reward) had the company decided to pull the plug at any point up to release. No special mechs. No Premium time. No MC. Because there would not have been a -game- to have them in. Founders chose to risk their real money in an investment that had the very real possibility (either through technical trouble or just the decision of the company execs to take the money and run) of failure.

To ask a similar package now be offered for what is, in truth, merely an expansion pack for a game that is now proven viable, well after the risk has been abated, and more wishing this package feature -better- rewards than the original Founders (Clan mechs) proves the the entire point of this proposal is -not- to support the game or invest in it, but simply a means to gain the rewards as though it were a simple transaction (would the 'investors' of such a package accept it if the Devs accepted their money and then decided to give them nothing at all in return because the Clans are determined to be not what they want in their game after all? If not, then the point is made).

Just wait for the Hero mechs to come out and buy that. They are, after all, what you really want, without the need to pretend anything else.

And instead of chain-posting the same proposal because you didn't get the answer you wanted the last couple of times, why don't you simply ask 'When the Clans are released, can we get Hero mechs for them?'. It would be more honest, even if it is counter to everything the Clans stand for (everything for the Clan, not for the individual's glory).

I'm a Founder and I would totally drop another $100 if they offered me 4 pseudo-hero Clan chassis and some MC.

(Assuming they were good chassis - something like Kit Fox, Stormcrow, Timber Wolf, Dire Wolf)

They may be able to get two packages out of it. An IS response package when the Clans first appear... and then a Clan package.

I don't think MW:T needs a second round of founders money right now.

What I don't get is why players are so amped for clans. This is going to wreck havoc on this game. I would never in my right mind put down money on Clan "Founder's" packages not evening knowing how the clans will affect a game that is not fully balanced without them.
