That number is the total amount that you have earned, not the amounts that you have on a specific mech. I realize that the OP was asking how much XP we were "sitting on", but to me that is more about how much XP we have earned that has not yet been used. Basicly, how much XP have you earned in the mechs that you have already mastered (or at least gotten to the level that you no longer wish to improve them. Many people are content with elite and do not bother with master).

My Jenner is prolly the mech wait the most XP on it 300k.

Over the course of my game playing I've accrued 3,551,230 XP.
