So, i didnt look too hard, but i wanted to learn a few things. im a new guy, late to the show. i have played all the MW games but quit after it died out and never heard about MWO. i have noticed that the amount of mechs here is kinda limited and wanted to know how often new mechs were released and what kind of mechs are planned?

There are new Mechs released roughly once a month. I believe if you have a look through the Command Chair and Announcement forums you'll find details on upcoming Mechs and the development schedule.

Typically once a month, and the Announcements area: http://mwomercs.com/...-announcements/ lists all the mechs announced so far.

And no, most of the Mechs you saw in the previous games aren't there...those are Clan mechs, and the Clans haven't been implemented yet.
