I used to be able to press H to find out where that D-DC sniper and his cronies are hiding but now they sit outside of the thermal vision's effective range making it even harder to eye ball them on clear maps, impossible even on night or cloudy maps. Is this an unintended consequence?

Some of those snipers are dedicated to their work that they know the maps by the back of their hands and snipe your bracket if their allies see you.

DDC snipers are basically a waste of space so you're good. Just get out of their line of fire and kill them last.

You realize that if you have a tough time seeing them, they also are going to have a tough time seeing you, right?

Try turning off heat vision so you can see them, too. You do realize if they're hitting you, they can see you, right?

I think we can pretty much tell that a few folks are aimbotting well outside the effective visual range. A few of them could just be really lucky pot shots, like he said aiming in the bracket, but what I've experienced are impossible headshots and center shots from max range. I was playing my DDC last night when I was trying out the new modules, and I don't think the new thermo is all that great really. It seems higher rez than before, but I hate the greyscale. I think there is a lack of definition in it. So, I kinda disagree that it gives an edge. In fact, like the post about it states, I'm not finding it quite as useful.

But with their high-mounted hardpoints they can shoot over terrain without exposi..... oh, wait..... nm.
But don't you understand? Those things can mount 2 whole ERPPC and 1 whole Gauss! That's as bad as a fat poptart without jumpjets, mobility, or the ability to get behind cover quickly!
