It is getting annoying to fight against teams, that are 100t more heavy than your own team...
This problem is around like for ages...

Actually the weight fail balance is the result of ELO matchmaking

imho drop weight ballance and drop # mech class ballance - BAD idea!
it would reduce the Number of of tactical possibilities and poor skill gaming...
If impose restrictions on weight and Number of mech we get the standard fights from time to time ((( it would be boring...
starting a fight you will know that there is 2 light 2 medium 2 heavy and 2 assault mechs )))
and weight restrictions difficult to implement... I do not think that will limit of 8 x 100 tons ... as a minimum limit 8 x 35 tons!
I do not know about a balance now... but LET's random show skill each of us!!! Let's FUN!

This 100 times. Rather than just using pilot skill they should use BV, tonage, and elo. I'm sure that after they find 16 players with similar elo they could group them up based on weights.
