Shouldn't be locked useful for PGI.
Unless Miss or viterbi wants to add the poll to the main thread.

but we're seeing that Merc corps are going to be subscription based, and IF CW becomes a Pay2Play, then we will see a lot of players either staying away from CW or even leaving the game.
I don't want to see CW become a money sink because even if people say "just pay the money" not a lot of players will causing a division in the player base, something that this game cannot afford

Then yes.
To play in a Merc corp like a subscription no...
Unless it provides mechs/paint/camo use and a MC allowance as long as I'm subbed. then yes.

As I said in a few earlier threads, even a fee to join a merc corp I don't think they should do... I just think the setup fee for a merc corp should be really high.

Overall my opinion of the system will really depend on how it's done;
If I can make a named unit under a specifics house’s colours for free, but need to pay to make a merc company, then I really don't care. You pay money to become your own special little snowflake and give massive incentive to declare allegiance to a specific house which would be good for role play and the overall health of the game.
If a merc company is the only way I can gather up my friends and slap a cool name on top of the list, and all my friends have to pay to join, then I'm going to be a little miffed.

If PGI suddenly change the goalposts in terms of what community warfare is and how players gain access to it, I won't be happy.

Look at coolant flush.
THEY CAN change and they are not out to make you mad.
In any case, whats to gain by being in a merc corp, over a great house?
its just a in game clan, guy's, calm down.
