What do you guys think? I have been told I put a bit too many fades and was suggested on how to use fades better so hopefully my next video will be better.

I'd love to see the same video but without so many transitions. Less is more :) You want to build slow and each a climax, and using some fades in the beginning helps you to start slow so you can have a more impactful climax, but fades all the way just makes it slow. you also want to start getting into shorter, more impactful sequences as you get closer to the end. rising action!

You sure you mean After Effects? Because you use that program to make cool effects like particle streams and stuff like that, didn't see any of that in the video. All I saw was transitions (the fades) which you make with a video editing software. And did you also have a filter on top of that? It seemed little darker than normal, and it looked good I'd like to know what filter you used.

After Effects is a video editing software.

Yes, it can do a lot of fancy effects, but first and foremost it is a video editing tool.

I thought Premier Pro was Adobe's video editing program? And After effects can do video editing but you have way less control.

Would be nice to see some exterior shots. I guess it takes a tad more organising to get people to be where you want them to be to take the shot, and do the whole F11 zoom in jobby. Works well when cut into cockpit footage. Also personal preference but I think it looks better with the HUD when actually playing.

Yeah it's definitely the other way around. First and foremost it's an effect making tool. Premiere is the Adobe familys video editing tool.

Thank you for the input. I never really thought of it like that. I'm not sure when my next video will be I would want to do completely new footage for it. But I will definitely work on what you said.

Thanks!

Yes I do mean After Effects. I changed the vibrance, saturation/hue, color balance, and curves of the Tourmaline shots and a little on the Forest Colony shots. I didn't use a specific filter, I hand did it myself. I didn't do any major effects because I was learning the basics to the program (editing video segments, basic transitions and fades, and some color correction).
