Just want to see how many are affected.
This has been happening since the 3/5 patch (Host State Rewind), screen goes black and then you return to MechLab.

Followed all these instructions and still crash to Mech Lab
Sometimes its immediate, other times I can play for an hour.

I've rebooted, reloaded, deleted shaders, once it happens I just have to give up. No crashdumps only message in Omnicron is:
CGameClientChannel::Release
UnLoadLevel End: 0.4 sec
sv_gamerules = mechlab []

To begin with, please make sure the following ports are opened on your router:
TCP 45461
TCP 45464
UDP 21000 to 30000
If you are using a wireless connection, please wire your computer to your router/modem with an Ethernet Cable as it will prevent encountering connection issues.
Once done, open the Control Panel > Internet Options > Click on the "Delete..." button in the General Tab and tick all the options except for the first one (Preserve Favorites Website Data) and Click on Delete.
On the Internet Option window, click the "Advanced" tab and then click on the "Reset..." button, tick the Delete Personal settings and then click on Reset.
Clear the cache of your browser and make sure it is not set to private browsing mode.
Then shutdown your Firewall and Anti-virus and try again to patch the game.

I opened my ports and ran the game with everything set to low @ 1680x1050 and I didn't experience a crash to mechlab in the 20+ rounds I played (usually get crashes every 3-4 games), but when I cranked my settings back up to max, I crashed in the third round. I've lowered my settings again to see if I can repeat the no crash streak and I'll report back with my findings later.

NOTE: During my low settings test, I had at least two disconnects from the main server, which booted me back to the login screen.
