GoodGames, i only do Pug games, are for me the ones wich impress me in some way. usualy this are the close ones. Steamroling games i find not so good, they look a bit to onesided to me.

Let's be fair, if someone has just stomped your face into the dirt, effortlessly, and then they tell you it was a "good game", are you going to take it as a courtesy? Or are you going to call them a pack of liars?

Only say good game when the game was good.

8-0s definitely aren't a good game, mostly due to ELO needing tweaking still. Saying GG at that point just makes them look snarky or like they're trying to rub it in.

It's less of a statement like "wow that was a good game" and more of a common respectful thing to say to your opponent after a match.

What do I think is a really good match, to answer your question? A close one. Where the winners won just -barely- and everyone on both sides gave it their all.

This.

The tennis players shaking hands, the football players exchanging shirts.

It's not something you calculate peoples performance for, it's just good manners. :P

Any game I find some amusement in or enjoy I will consider a good game. Win or loose, does not matter, as long as i had fun.
