Clan Mech Production Queue Announcement?

The Clan invasion was set to begin this March, and March has all but already passed us by.
I feel that PGI can afford to run two queues for a while to add more depth into the game a little faster and make an attempt at keeping up with the timeline.... Unless nobody who applied was qualified for such a job in the past year since they began "hiring".
In any event definately keep the bar set high. The Jagermech was very nicely done. The dynamic ballistic mounts show a great and much anticipated attention to detail.

So my guess is that we will see clan tech enter the game around there sometime together with the new tech developed during the one year the clans stop and elect a new IlKhan
My guess is that we will only get fluff posts up till that point.
But rumors has it that four or maybe five clan mechs are done as concept sketches.

Once they give us a lump sum of Clan mechs, then you can expect some sort of monthly announcement again.

That's when holidays end, and when any sane developer would start squeeziing out content.

makes sense, wait until most of the cash spending folks have gone back to work, would not want too many people playing and spending cash.

You see, PGI promised and maintains that it produces two new mechs every month, when in fact they only put out one new mech and a revised "hero" mech of an existing variant. I think they have been using it as cover to produce one new Inner Sphere mech and one new Omni mech, only the IS of which we see, and the Omni gets shelved until CW.
Just a theory, but I'm inclined to believe it.

well my guesses are based on the actuall time-line combined with what people want to get out of the whole shebang.
A train of thought might go like this...
The Clans invade and pretty much maul anything in their way, so in order to keep wiht the lore we have to loose pretty much all and every encounter with them... That is not good gameplay so it is unlikely that we will see clan play before it can be done on some kind of equal footing. That would indicate that we would get ti play with clan toys at the earliest around when the first "truce" trigger by the Miraborg incident as that is one of the first times that clan tech even begin to see "public" use by the think tanks of the IS
The clans as a faction do need the whole faction system in place before it actually matters. That means this summer at the earliest and as the Miraborg incident happens late fall it is not impossible that the clans get put in at a slightly later point as most of the outright fighting stops during this period.
Anyway... As mentioned this is pure guesswork and is in no way shape or form a absolute truth, Just my very own take on it.

Well, Clan tech isn't balanced. It's just plain better.
I suspect they'll go with 10 vs 12 in games. That may or may not be enough to balance it. If they add an honor system where you don't get assists, and you don't get any points from joint kills, then it might also work. (People would qq to no end over that thoguh)
You can't really balance them weapon for weapon or mech for mech however, they're simply much better

Speculation is fine...its the attitude of confidence here that we will not see Clans until (x) amount of time when we know nothing but the lore, and people are even misquoting the lore now. There seems to be this natural assumption that we won't see the Clans until October, when on April 30th Hanse Davion dispatches six elite AFFC divisions and mercenary units to the front lines to halt the advance.
But in no way will I go around here disseminating this information as fact about when we will fight the Clans. It's all speculative

Well you have my reasoning... i can not answer for others but as far as guesswork goes it is pretty solid.
Now that does not stop PGI from doing it any other way.. i am just being realistic about it so that i am not setting my self up with a lot of expectations. It is usually a wise path to travel.
