I think is too soon for this, the game needs a lot of fixes and new features, if the game is officially released too soon, the people that try it will get upset by it and won't give it a try when it really gets good in the future when it gets "finished".

To be clear, IT SHOULD, be officially released when it has no more basic bugs, much more gameplay, maps, etc.

I didn't vote, but it's only March, so that's 6 months away. Depending on what problems/issues/concerns come up, it could very well be pushed back. I'll take a wait and see approach, seeing as how open beta was pushed back.

It can't be released in september because it was released last year. Don't wave your "it's in beta" at me because it flatout is not.

Even if they pay a lot of money to enlarge the staff and focus on all the bugs, etc. They won't make it to have much more maps and game modes for September

The state of the game is a joke right now. They need to fix and add a lot of things.

The game has come a long way in 6 months, another 6 months should put it right were it needs to be fore release.

No, but if we keep delaying it, this could turn into Duke Nukem Forever, redux :P.

Uh theres no delay, no release. It's been released and the people who will be playing it are already playing it.

Beta to full release will just be a larger patch day.

Go on keep saying that to yourself if it makes you feel better. Beta, is a very loose term now due to the MMO world and the F2P world. Beta still is and means "work on progress" but that alone could be applied to all F2P and MMO titals, this is where "beta release" or "perpetual beta" comes in and better describes these games. Hence MWO is a "beta release" game but it is still very early on and is not feature complete, which it mostly will be once CW rolls down at us and DX11 comes in. Then the game could go to full on release.

MWO is far from ready. Too many things are missing, unbalanced or simply broken.
