Already doing an upgraded 3050 Rifleman load in my Jager-S. The LLAS may not be in the arms, but it is a most effective Jager design. Try it, you may be surprised.

Is there something I dont understand in there?

First off... you are a customer, not a investor. Fundamental difference as PGI/IGP will never have to be financially accountable to you beyond delivering a working product.

Second off IIRC it was never explicitly stated what the "founders2 money would go and you should realize that the money form the founders programme was a nice boost... It was miles from any significant investment.

Anyway... Back on topic.

I would like to see a "rifleman"-esq design for a hero and if i piloted heavy mechs i would absolutely get one. Especially as i feel it is a huge waste of money for PGI to try and get the right to produce said designs for a video game

BTW Riffleman... You do know that most likley even FASA did not have the rights to use the now unseen designs in a videogame. Their license was most likley limited to printed media such as the tabletop game and related products and it might even be so that other companies might have exclusive rights to use the designs for video games.

So again.. why should they spend a ton of money better spent on other things just to coddle your nostalgia when they have so many designs that does not carry that stigma and can very easy emulate the mechs that are unseen.

Your thread title should have included the word "Rifleman", obviously.

How to name your thread is an art. Countless of my threads fail because I am not artistic enough with my thread title, too. :(

Nice idea, and definitely a good load-out for a hero-mech.
Combine it with Endo and DHS to justify the high price tag for Hero-Mechs and I would buy it maybe at full price and defintely with a discount...

Ironically, there IS a canon JagerMech that would at least be able to run the same loadout as the Rifleman:

The JagerMech III,

Pity it doesn't get produced for another 8-10 years in the timeline.

What MustrumRidcully said. As it was pointed out in someone else's thread a couple of days ago, it works best if you insult the player base in your topic. Naming an unseen mech works decently too, but if your subject matter is something like,
"This is a fun game and the guy that killed me last match was a great pilot and we had a very satisfying duel. Tip of my hat to you, sir!"
Then your topic title better be something along the lines of,
"What's REALLY wrong with this game and why your mother slept with the local homeless population last night."
Otherwise no one will read it. Even then I've noticed people will make fun of you, trash talk, and try to bring you down if you try to be positive in the General Forums. It's like a whole meta-game to the MW:O experience. Better to exploit it to the best of your ability.
