I didn't see feedback about this issue so I'll report this in this form. One mention was in this thread (http://mwomercs.com/...akes-screeeech/ , message 4) which was about a bit different issue.

Briefly: when the match has started I usually type some stuff and everytime I press "o" or "p" it treats it like I would like to shutdown or over-ride - for example if I type a word containing "p" it shut downs my mech while I'm writing to chatbox. This only seems to happen when match starts, after starting animations.

Same issue. But can occur at any time during the fight while typing in chat.

Believe this is mentioned in the known issues thread, it appears to arise when the game is in transition from one "mode" to another.
