The forums melting down is as much to do with random PR **** ups as it is to do with the devs treating their (core) players like mushrooms.

As has been stated, 3rd party media sources should not be where we have to go to find out about what is happening in this game. If you must do PR media releases the info should be dropped here simultaneously or very soon after (within an hour or so).

I stand by everything I said and will continue to repeat it if needed.

I'm not sorry, but mostly because I didn't say anything inflammatory. The forum overeacted, but that's to be expected of any gaming forum. I'll agree that more communication needs to happen here on the forums, but I don't think the reaction that occured was warrented. It was very apparent that people weren't even worrying about context when the twitter posts were posted and people kept replying as if they were making a reply on page 1.

What I will say is that I'm happy with the direction the game is going, from what we know.

a rumor mill? OK, if an interview is a rumor mill why are the vids worth a **** then? All they are is interviews.

The video didn't explain anything. However, the other 4 news articles didn't mention anything about the premium mercs. You'd think they would have thought that that was important.

Not to mention, the way that quote was blocked, it could easily have been taken out of context.

And when I say rumor mill, I mean, most of the people who posted on that monster of a thread probably didn't even read the article.

I said it in the other thread just before it got locked: if you wanted to create a constructive thread about subscriptions you could have left it at that. You decided to add a few lines asking why threads were being locked - a moderator came in and said you're not supposed to question moderator decisions here and closed the thread. Then you made a ***** thread about it and guess what - they locked that too. I don't know why you're so surprised.

Trying to complain about something by piggybacking it on the flimsy backing of a tired discussion got you what you should have been expecting.
