Can someone explain this to me? This is happening a lot to me and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My engine keeps getting destroyed quicker than I anticipate. I have a standard engine. Here's a screencap from the latest instance, which shows that my armor isn't even gone and my internal structure is still intact, yet my engine is destroyed somehow:

Your rear center torso armor is gone, so that means someone killed you from the rear. Try to keep your front toward the enemy.

As said, you received a crit to your center torso, rear.

You've been cored from behind. Thus the damage penetrated deeply into your inner most structure.

Your rear left, right, and centre torso armor is gone. Perhaps putting more armor behind if you always get backstabbed. Also pay attention when you get damaged, the red indicator will at the bottom of your screen if you were hit from behind.

No offence, but someone sold his founder acc. I just can't believe that real founder can ask something like this .

Hardly. That's a hard assesment on something you take for granted, sight. The paper doll is not entirely intuitive. There are plenty who popped in for closed beta, who are even founders...(not all cb participants bought founders), who havent paid too much attention to details that might change from patch to patch, including the OP. There are plenty of cases where at a glance no damage and no armor look remarkably the same.

Just because you look at that readout and see yellow left/right rear torso and blacked out center rear torso, does not mean others see it. Depending on gamma on your screen for instance, even a destroyed location can look like it has a faint line, which could be misinterpreted as no damage to rear armor.

Given that, the o p probably saw just what was stated, a front center torso with no internals left, but still armor apparently. Not reading the rear properly meant they didnt realize back was destroyed, all internal too... and remainder made the front CT armor yellow but not totally destroyed.
