I think 20,000 tons is a typo. It should be 200,000 tons. It is used to deploy dropships into low orbit.

Actually Titans are specific class of vehicle as in a Warlord Titan, Warhound Titan or the Reaver Titan

Eldar have titans too. So do the tyranids. The largest scale of chaos demons are vehicles are also referred to as titans. Ork gargants are reffered to as Titans by the imperium, and they're the only thing that even has a different name.

That would be a step backward, even for them. They should just hire FD instead.

Not like he's a stranger to Wh40k considering the use of dakka on the Jaggermech and this:

I find the arbitrary 100 ton ceiling in BT lore so silly.

I was making these back ten years ago. Dave McCulloch made these rules for "House Rules". I see some features were added to the original draft I have in a storage device somewhere.

I'd actually kind of enjoy an "8 or 12 human players vs 1 CPU controlled Titan" mode. Kind of like the Patriarch fight in Killing Floor :D

PGI went way overboard with April Fool's, this year. Gotta be subtler with these things. A simple "Battlemech #20: Urbanmech" would have done the trick.

Regardless of it being an april fools joke, that foot does not look familiar....

Quick. Everyone take pictures of all the mech feet we have!

Nope... That clearly doesn't look like anything we have now. Since its rendered in engine its highly probable in my opinion that its a foot from some new mech, otherwise why go to the bother and expense of modeling it unless you can use it for something.

That would have had people crying blood once they found it was a joke. Better to be over the top.

LOOK FAMILIAR? This is not something new Mektek tried this same thing the mechs ended up being one shot wonders for NHUA matches on there sever where im sure Russ and Brian gained there experience in MechWarrior from what I have seen of the beta I would almost say some in PGI are from the old Mektek staff itself.
