Ok....? That thread appears to describe an entirely different bug,,, Experiencing black screen after loading, the issue described in this thread is (visually and functionally, at least) nothing like the one described in the linked thread...
Will get around to posting a support ticket anyway.

At least give them a solid foundation from which to take your DXDIAG from.

I'm sorry, not trying to be rude, but did you actually read the OP? The very first line states that I just updated my drivers. I need an adult. contacting support.

I also reset my nvidia profile for the game to defaults after the driver update. I then loaded up the mech lab, and reset my graphics settings in game to defaults then set to very high (was previously custom).
Exactly the same issues when loading next game.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this particular bug has no relation to the graphics card. It seems to be a process issue.
Had to go to work now though, further testing will need to wait till home time. Likely will be a hot fix by then I'm hoping.

running on catalyst 13.1 hi end hardware
normally loads instant after load on max settings but now i have realy long load

10x shorter when loaded with minimum settings but same resolution.
in game lots of artifacts now on ground "triangles" newer seen them before this patch

Checked drivers up to date etc etc. currently doing a reinstall but not holding out much hope

Please fix this guys!

No worries. I am just copying and pasting a template answer to these threads so everyone gets the same information.
Update Video Drivers and get a support ticket in.
I am trying to help out the developers as best as I can by getting the word out. There are multiple threads regarding video bugs all exploding at once, so it helps for me to just hit each one as fast as I can.

alt-tabbing several times appears to fix this issue...
Just had 2 succesful drops in a row, got the blackscreen thing at first, alt tabbed rapidly 4-5 times and it loaded up as normal....

Also noticed that in the games where I had to spend a bit longer alt-tabbing, by the time I'd loaded up most teammates had time to advance 100-200 metres, but I was still in the power-up sequence.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one experiencing the bug. Just updated the patch. Updated my graphics drivers and I get black screens in all 3 games I have played. Alt-Tab works to get the game going, but it means I enter the game 4-8 minutes after the game has started. Team/Group chat won't activate either.
And I've noticed a lot of Zombie mechs last few games. Mechs walking into walls etc. We getting a lot more mid-game DCs?

I'm in Oz as well - so it looks like it is mostly farking with Australian/NZ players.
