Here is a small list of bugs i have created that i feel should be formally addressed by the devs

various Hud Bugs
missile balance/fix
CTD
various map bugs
ballistic rewind
missile rewind
flickering terrain
base capture bug
all weapon ranges need adjusting
ECM - still no post we've been promised then re-promised
Collision
Machine guns
games launching without full groups, i've seen matchs launch 6 vs 7 and then each also have another 1 disconnect leaving 5 vs 6

while the new content is appreciated, and i understand it may be separate teams, most of these bugs have existed since closed beta.

just an official statement on the state of each one would help the community understand what is going on.

I think the community was put off by the new cockpit content, it's probably something that can wait till release, and Nv/thermal did need some fixing but a the complete re-work was unneccessary right now, when other content is still being added.

TLDR : it seems you guys get distracted half way through and then things are never getting fixed

The HUD bugs, optimization/FPS bugs, CTDs, and map bugs should absolutely be a priority to address.

PGI is doing things for the money now so who knows. There is no other reason to release a 30 dollar hero mech before the actual mech. It's all about marketing and they are only adding things to get the best bang for their buck without actual consideration of the game.

That is why we still see bugs from the closed beta days that STILL have not been addressed correctly.

Agreed, aesthetics AFTER functionality. We do not need all this wrapping on a package that sounds like it is about to go nuclear and blow up in our faces.

Just Saying,

It would appear that at least five of the thirteen items listed are not bugs, but are instead a personal opinion of what you'd like to see changed. Not sure that it's a fair representation.

Looks like they have escalated the bug issues with this patch. Dropped a buggey patch on top of bugs that have been around for months.
I would love to see them fix the old stuff before adding more fluff.

The game is basicly unplayable for me now, my FPS are decent (50 fps +), but light mechs are warping all over the place and I see the people with high pings (200+) seem to be taking advantage of it by piloting nothing but 150kph spiders and ravens that you can't hit with pings as high as they are now.

name which 5 and i'll explain why i feel they are bugs or bugged.

i have a feeling you'd like to argue semantics rather than discuss the topic

weapon range i'll agree is my opinion

When product integrity is placed above marketing and monetization. The problem is they tapped into a gold vein when it comes to fools and their money. For a tiny publisher and studio like this the major technical faults and balancing might be addressed when the doubled staff actually contributes in a meaningful way. I would say next summer before the client becomes even reasonably stable.

Funny thing is they had said we would not go open beta until the game was more than 90% stable, wonder who made that call.

Most of those don't affect testing, so they're not a priority.

the problem is we just have no clue at all what they are doing or intending to do. we just sit in the closet and wait for them to feed us a new tidbit. but at the sametime we (the players) are also the investors, so knowing what is coming is pretty important if they want to continue being paid.

Seriously, I don't even want to patch my game after reading all the issues people are having. i wish I could just run the version i have right now, which worked last night just fine (mostly... aside from rampant HUD bugs that started around the time the Jagermech was released).

Having to patch when you know it's going to make the game worse, is an ugly feeling.

that's something that won't ever change, it's a online game. Hud bug has existed since existed since closed beta

These things are often the hardest to pin down as they are also the hardest to reliably reproduce. Even when pinned down and fixed a patch could introduce a new one that is similar but caused in a completely different way. They probably are priorities, but they are not going to stop putting out other things that other people are working on.

If PGI could fix the bugs they would.

The coding staff is not competent to fix the problems and the problems will
only multiply as they attempt to add more content.

my complaint is not so much about fixing the bugs "now" but the fact that we don't even know how or when they possibly might be fixed.

if we had more information there would be less speculation

Well, as much as I hate being a spokesperson for Piranha, because they don't pay me, here's the general gist of what they're shooting for. A new Mech each month, a new map every 3ish months, an improved UI soon, Community Warfare metagame not so soon, and Op. Revival late in the year.

The "we are the investors" thing, sort of sounds like the position of big publishers. The ones that lord over developers with draconian mire and micromanage or fundamentally change "their" project. No, you're not an investor, you're a consumer. Investors spend capital on a project in order to get a capital return on said project. Consumers spend money purely just to get something, like a mouth with legs, chomp chomp.

add this to your list: buildings invisible, random floating balls in their place.
