In the battle tech universe, Heavy Gyro, Compact Gyro, XL Gyro don't have characteristics that are relevant to the game outside of mechlab.

However, this can be fixed by applying a few features compatible to the flavor of the the board game.

Heavy Duty Gyro :
---------------------------
Increased HP
Increase Horizontal and Vertical Torso Rotation
Decrease Turn Speed
Increase in Stability

Compact Gyro:
---------------------------
Decreased HP
Decrease Horizontal and Vertical Torso Rotation
Increased Turn Speed
Decrease in Stability

XL Gyro
---------------------------

Increase Turn Speed
Increase in Stability

XL gyro should be the same as normal one, weight saved is already enough i think.

Also, consider the introduction dates for the alternate gyro types:

Compact Gyro: introduced by the FedSuns and Lyran Alliance in 3068 (TechManual, pg. 219)
Heavy-Duty Gyro: introduced by the Combine in 3067 (TechManual, pg. 219)
XL Gyro: introduced by ComStar in 3067 (TechManual, pg. 220)

As such, it seems somewhat unlikely at this point that any of those items would be appearing in-game anytime soon...
