Airstrike Needs Plane Model

The Airstrike needs a plane model to drop the bombs. So I decided to help PGI.

1) Use Stalker model
2) Remove legs
3) Add wings

Or the Aero space fighter could be so high you wouldn't normally notice it. In other words, it's not a strafing run but a bombing run.

If it's a 4-6 second drop for the bombs, then yes, it would have to be close enough to both see and hear. I've never been so dissappointed in a video game "feature as I am to those two modules" Both visually and in terms of use. They could allow players to use them with no 60 second break between use, unlimited uses per game, and it still would be useless.

we need aerospace fighters closing in on the target for airstrikes. i want a michael bay production value for both air strike and artillery strike.

Airstrike actually needs to do some damage before anything else...

20,000 gxp to upgrade, 40,000 c-bills a shot, and I think my TAG beam does more damage :P

Airstike is meeeh. Dont bother with the plane the explosion is like a couple of granades thrown out from a plane rather than a bombing round. Its like puf puf puf and not like kabooom kaboom if u know what i mean.

Seriously, we need some AeroFighters (especially the Shilone) delivering the weapon payloads to the target locations.

I'm just annoyed the graphics for the airstrike and artillery strike are so pathetically small. Why can't we have some nice garish explosions?

what if the airstrikes are from orbital platforms or ships? wouldnt see them then...

Also, no. There are thousands.. nay, tens of thousands of artists that can make an aerospace bomber for pennies on the dollar. Wait, did that rhyme? Anyway, it wouldn't cost much for a laughably static model with minimal polys. I'd say 1000 polys and you've wasted your time. 500 would do the trick, plus a basic 256^2 texture.

We also need some sounds for it. Arty and air strikes. The shilone does a barel roll out of the clouds and Produces a loud shrieking whoosh as it screams through atmo. Dropping it's payload which lands with a nice resonating explosive thud that echoes through everyone's cockpit. That's what I want. As for arty adding some ground shake and some whistling as it comes through the air. Some trails off the ordnance being seen as that fatlass stares up at it's impending doom. Then it lands with the hard *KABOOM*. All this support should induce some sort of psycholgical warfare. Also let me drop this crap from the tactical map! How is using my crosshairs useful. If that's the case I'll just shoot at them. Not like arty or air does that much damage!
