This is the newest, most high tech, cutting edge consumer VR ever created, and it is now finally ready for the mainstream!

This is a revolutionary technology that will change the way media is consumed for ever.

This will be a 6 billion dollar a year business by the end of the century.

This will blow your mind; watch in amazement, as they play Mechwarrior II in VIRTUAL REALITY!

This is... 1995.

Note : the mechwarrior footage starts 8 min in ^^

Yeah, occulus rift is just the failed 3D fad of 2009/2010 all over again. When will these game developers learn that people don't want to strap stupid looking devices emitting brain cancer causing radiation to their heads just to play games.

I'd strap it if I'd play better. If it looks/feels better? Meh, I don't even run the game on the highest settings as it is, even tho I could.

Could we get TrackIR and/or Kinect for Windows support for head tracking instead? Those are handy devices and, at $150 a pop, actually reasonably affordable. I just bought a nice new TV to play games on. I'm not interested in buying VR goggles. Head tracking, though, was awesome in Forza and Flight Sim and would also be awesome in MWO.
