OK, so I had a look at my omicron log file after getting a new Geforce Titan thinking it would be great to run MWO with and surprise, surprise BLACK SCREEN.

There seems to be a lot of "Errors: Runaway thread" in the Omicron log file.

Congratulations PGI - yeah your suggestion to "Update Drivers" worked wonders NOT - not even the most up to date video card can run your game.

Who runs the internal testing anyway? Not even a monkey can stuff up THIS BAD. Now games don't even load anymore so I've been out for most of the day.

I was thinking of updating my PC and the GeForce Titan does look attractive.

Is there any way to know if it should work correctly? Other players have Titans that are not doing this? I could settle for a GTX680 or GTX690 but .. I haven't bought a new gaming PC in years and I like to get the best video card.

jeffsw6 don't bother mate - if you were gonna get one - get a second hand GTX 680 or 690 if you can stretch it, there should be some now that people are upgrading to the Titan. The Titan is still prohibitively expensive at the moment.

I went the Titan route as it uses less power than the 690, no SLi hassles, runs cooler and now have a proper full DP jack.

This Titan I have runs on latest 314.22 drivers - no other latest maybe from God himself - if PGI keeps insisting update your drivers.

Other than that the 690 is sweet - runs everything and just finished TR 2013, until this latest MWO patched borked it all.

There is a reason they call it the bleeding edge...

The Runaway's are standard, look for updates in future drivers to help support the game. But then again, there are issues waiting to be addressed. So its a crap shoot on the true issue.
