instead of using srm on my atlas dc is use streaks. i would never say its a brawler. its a support. i support my team against these "op-fleas" and it works fine for me. its my mech with the highest kd-ratio. thanks to the op lights.

it is a team game. but in all the threads about unfair game balaneces nearly everybody is talking about strange 1on1-situtations (without any usage of cover). so guys. i belive its good, that mwo insnt balanced for lonsome wolfes that like to ran strait into each other...
if u know were ure weaknesses are, plz think about a change of ure tactics before crying for a change in the gamemechanics.

I would gladly watch your hero vid where you 600armor slow truck kills... lets say raven with emc and sure, not the one who just stops in the middle of the fight or runs toward you in straight line.

One problem with emc is that most times your team have few emcs, but there noone will sac his own life to counter enemy emcs.

With my lrm boat i laught on lights without emcs that aint targeting me and are in open field at around 300 meters :) But thats not the point.

Plus your atlas will be more then dead meat if you run across 2x decent light users who have around 150armor. And please, dont tell me your few streaks will overpower raven with 5x medium who will definately melt your slow *** while you try to aim other light..

And here most people talk about common power comparison, on one side is ~50km/h mech with some power and on other side almost same power 150km/h runner... even better if he have emc. And now think aboutit, how the hell one light LIGHT mech can easy kill heavy armored mech.

Plus EMC blocks info on your own team mech too who has one.

Ive had a fun time running 2D, when enemys didnt have emc, i just circle em to death while laughing, no matter what armored it was and thats pretty stupid if you ask me.

Maby there should be a damage cap for every class mech, same weapons, but damage output for each class another. Something like that Lights-small/med/large lasers=1/2/4 damage, meds 2/3/6 damage, heavys 3/4/8damage and assaults 4/6/10damage or something like that. Cos now looks like armor doest do a ****, as i can easy kill two atlass in a row, while barely damage light.

as i said, i dont talk about 1on1 or 1on2... im with my team... so non of ure arguments work for my normal maches.
ure right, when im alone, cause i made the mistake to leave my team or got left, i die (like nearly anybody in a slow mech) but thats not the point... i'm support, not a lighthunter.
its a teambased game. an playing as a team is most the time the answer to the most "balancing-problem-threads"
and thats the point were lights or ecm's arn't overpovert anymore.

for any (potential) good mechpilote ther comes a day, when has played enough games and he leaves behind his straight thinking of his own build and stat thinking about buildcombinations for 4 to 8 mechs...
this is were tactics start...

1. ok, i'm no native englishspeaker too. but i think ur english isn't as bad as u might think :)

2. its a good point to focus on the counters for ecm. (don't u forgot ecm in countermode?) the ecm itself i fine i think. tag is fine too, but NARC isn't a good counter. its to hard to hit fast mechs with it. its to heavey to mount it on scouts (ok, not to heavy, but there are much better things to do with the tonnage...) and its to easy to loose.
so, maybe the NARC-missiles should be homing or to loose NARC you should have to do something. for exemple shutdown and restart your mech. or the NARC should blink like hell an should be at least as big as a cocpit, so one of your teammates has to shot it of your back...
