So I thought I might check in and play a couple of quick Assault games after the new patch - MWO client started up as normal after the patch's been downloaded and applied, so I selected "Assault" and clicked launch.

It then shows the usual map loading screen and then NOTHING! I've then had to kill the client after 15-30 minutes of NOTHING.

Seriously PGI, just don't bother putting up any new content after the patch SINCE AFTER THE PATCH EVEN MORE THINGS ARE BROKEN AND I CAN'T EVEN PLAY ANY GAMES!

It's best that you don't break the game anymore than it already is - with the HUD, minimap, IFF, DC bugs, terrain bugs so many now it's not even funny anymore.

OK, it seems now I can't play MWO AT ALL. Selected "Any" and it's still stuck on the black screen after loading.

Seriously PGI, take back all the new contents, we don't want it - just fix the bugs already, when people can't even play you gotta know it's a serious FAIL.

Yup got exactly the same problem after the patch.

Using NVIDIA divers 314.07

I'm getting it every game. Sorry to anyone I dropped itno battle with- nothing happened my side at all. Just a black screen.

That said, getting angry won't help anything.

Only thing I find works, is to keep alt-tabing in and out of the game, you tend to get in about 20seconds after the match starts, but I then get other grpahical bugs, like snap-back etc

Thanks Harleen, that seemed to work once - and why shouldn't I get angry? As founders we PAID good money to support this game - at least give us a decent working game after each patch, not ones that are even more broken.

Same problem here. Multiple times screen loads after launch and stays black.

If grouped my buddies could not see my mech but I was shown as already ingame. Time until I was "zoned" into the match was between 30 seconds and 2 minutes .... very annoying.

I've never had this problem before, but I've had it multiple times with the new patch. Black screen, no audio.
One interesting (but useless) thing: if I leave the black screen there until the match has finished, I eventually get the match results screen.

Edit: I tried the alt-tabbing workaround, and I did join the game half-way through, but I don't know if it was due to the alt-tabbing for 2 minutes or if it was just a coincidence.

Same here facing the black screen of nothingness. My mates believe it has something to do with our bad pings (over 200 ms). Not exactly sure though.
