I've seen this recent video interview and we see mechs turning red where lasers hit.
Is it still there? If no, why was it removed?

Talk about derailing a thread.
I think it was too bright and maybe was not the look they were going for.

Changes to thermal vision: "Thermal vision is now "white hot" and is restricted to normal view distances."

It was removed?
QFT
And it's not removed... it's toned down from the days of ole, but you do leave marks where you hit, and missing paint once cooled, and I'm not sure if it's new, just noticed it today, visible doo-dads when you give a section enough damage (I don't mean the hanging wires of missing arms or anything)

It was in the patch notes that they just toned down the glow dramatically.
Also, the grammar comment was a jerk move, on behalf of the community, sorry about that. Please don't ever find any of my Spanish papers . . . they're far worse... English is great in my opinion because you can ignore (or not know) all the rules and still be understood :-).

The heatglow effect has been reduced and the damage textures are buggy/white/shiny/removed to atm.
