Ok theres bugs etc. its a beta and all i can understand that to a certain degree BUT whoever tweaked the lightning on maps like river city day or forrest colony snow has to be blind.

Its looks way worse now. What the hell?!

looks like your skybox is damaged. If the sky is burning white bright then its a bug and you need to restore some files, delete your shader caches and so on. Search it in the forums, someone else had this bug too and made a video of before/after patch.

and you know...I'm assuming all of this because you didn't provide any further detail, like a screenshot for example.

They are too bright because everyone has finally come out of the darkness that is thermal vision. Let your eyes adjust and fight on.

Then their lawyer will say..."Your monitor has no contrast or dim settings?" The judge will laugh and shat his pants and walk out.

Maybe its your monitor

The snow is just a pure white surface, it had a recongniseable texture pattern before this patch. Its to bright now. River city night is nice now that its brighter, river day and forrest snow look way worse.

Dude, have you ever looked at snow in direct sun?
It's freaking bright.

There is a difference between "perfectly tuned for environmental and gameplay situation" and "I can make out 15m mechs in the white and gray, its fine for me shut up".

i get it!

realism is good! (when it can be used to counter a player saying something is bad in current form)

Realism is bad! (when used to show a current implementation in the game isn't working like it should)

consistency is REALLY bad!
