I will also have the disposable income to dump the occasional 50.00 in for additional MC.
One of the benefits to working in a war zone is the extra cash with witch to play.

My game dollars are instead going to Star Citizen and Elite: Dangerous, and maybe that new Ultima game Lord British is working on. For the amount I've wasted on this mess here I could probably get all 3 and they'll all be full featured AAA titles from developers with a proven track record of making epic, memorable games.

I think I halved my budget for MWO over the last day.
It's not the issues themselves, but the way PGIGP reacted to them. This led me to the conclusion tech support is controlled by the legal section.
Champion mechs...bah! Cheaper to convert to GXP on those rare occasions. I was considering more cammo/paints. No more.
As a Pokemech player they could have gotten a great deal of cash out of me. However, when there is so little liaison going on, so little listening, I am forced to conclude that cutting back is warranted.

I have not seen one single post QQing that the Heavy Metal is over-powered. Not one!
How is that pay-to-win? Oh, right ... it isn't. You're just trolling.

I am disappointed by the 24+ hours it took them to make an announcement about the new technical problems. I read the post and it did not seem clear if they expect these bugs to be improved or fixed this week, next week ...
Basically, I thought the announcement they made was "look, we're so great, because we have more automated testing!"
They also have thousands of players experiencing crashes that would be fixed if they rolled back the patch. I do not think they should roll it back, because people bought Heavy Metal mechs and that might cause a big outcry. What I would like to see from PGI is, "we won't introduce new MC content and other technical changes in the same patch again," giving them more flexibility to quickly respond to trouble.
It seems they have not learned that lesson.

Primary reasons: lack of balance.
For me, a balanced gaming experience, is an enjoyable gaming experience. I know alot of gamers agree with this, but I get the feeling these individuals dont post on this forum. Actually saw a thread arguing for imbalance, and I was stunned.

Will I ever buy a normal mech with MC? Heck no.
Will I ever buy more than one or two paints with MC? Heck no.
Will I ever buy a Hero mech? Heck no, if the pricing remains as balls-out insane as it is right now.
Will I ever buy a Hero mech, if the pricing gets more reasonable? Probably.

1. Hero/Champion 'mechs that are cannon-related. I'm a very competitive gamer, but I'm also BattleTech fan. In order to legitimize Hero 'mechs, I think that they should be actual cannon-related ones. Fabricating fictitious Heros (a-la Ilya Muromets) is basically tinsel on a tree - as in dressing something up to make it look more legitimate. Battletech is awash in true 'Heroes' - pick their 'mechs.
2. Interesting customizations. I include in this category such things as paint, decals, and cockpit items. Air fresheners, fuzzy dice, etc. are really (really) cheesey. Give me more Battletech-related items, such as the House Steiner hologram (love that) or the recent 'mech statues. Give us lore-appropriate paint schemes and/or decals.
Premium time is nice, but not all that neccessary. Paying 'real money' for anything I can earn with C-Bills is also a poor idea. Lastly, as many others have no doubt touched on, if this game in any true way starts inching towards 'pay to win', I will cease all payments whatsoever.
For a summation of how much I will pay... well, that depends on how interesting the content is, and whether or not I felt that some (hopefully most) of my invested money goes towards improving the game (new 'mechs, maps, and game-modes) and does not just go towards even more 'fluff' for the cash shop. I feel that a lot of other people probably would agree with this sentiment.

So far I've just spent some mc's to get a few mechbays to accomodate the incoming Highlanders, but after these a lot of time will pass before I'll need some more, the May isn't interesting at all (Flea? no thanks), June will probably see the Blackjack (yeah a 45 tons ballistic medium, when you already have troubles allocating multiple ballistics in a HBK4G - no thanks again)..
So far the plans are: I need mechbays for July and the Orions, eventually some others for September for the unannounced Assault and as many as necessary for the Clan mechs.
I hope PGI will do some launch offer or clan founder pack when the time comes, because for now besides acquiring mechbays I don't really have any plans to drain off more mc's.. non pink rocking HGN for me, too costly.
