I've spent a little under $90 in six months on MWO. That works out to be $15 per month so far. Perfectly acceptable for my budget, considering I play one other game that costs $15 per month to play. I've bought a couple of hero mechs, some camos, unlocked some colors and bought mech bays. It's good entertainment value for me. I've played the Mechwarrrior games since I was in my teens and coming home from a tough day at work and piloting a mech is good fun. I won't judge anyone else on what they spend their money on. Would I spend $1k in a year on a video game? Nope. That's just me...to each his own.

Quick buying Mechs, MC(Converting to GXP), Camo patterns, Paint, Heroes, More MC for more GXP, More mechs again. I bought 2 Heavy Metals! It's not hard to burn through a lot of Money buing MC or GXP.

Ok, I've tried to figure it out, why on Earth do you need 2 Heavy Metals?

When I was 17 I started drinking and smoking, I squandered thousands of pounds between 17 - 25 on drink, drugs and other worthless ****, spending a whole weeks wages over two or three days week in week out.
I was lucky as I came to my senses before it consumed me, some of my friends and also my brother never made it, some are dead and others are alcoholics. I now have a son of my own at school but when he leaves and hopefully get's a job I would rather watch him spend his wages on video games than watch him waste his life away in clubs ******* it up against a wall.
