60, which didn't translate to 60. More like 45.

Legendary Founder... so 120 off the bat.

I'm waiting for the Zeus Battlemech and Clan Invasion to see if I'm going to spend anything more.

I tried to spend money on the game the day it went Open Beta, but the screen glitched out on me. I have decided to wait after that point, as it was a spur of the moment purchase decision that has since faded. Perhaps when the next paint sale comes, or when collisions are back in, or most of the bugs are worked out, I will invest.

heh...yeah, not a good first impression when you try to actually give them money and the system takes a dive!

Spent about 75 bucks as an estimate, should probably have bought into Elite Founders, in hindsight.
I was going to buy some more MC this week (you can never ever have nearly enough bays or Hero 'Mechs) but something in the last patch made me lose a lot of performance - more than I could afford to lose if I wanted to continue playing,

Now I'm just saving up to actually upgrade my old rig, so that means no more MC.

At least for now. ;)

Probably a lot more than I should have.

Around $90. I want to spend more but with the threat of 3rd person about to destroy the game, I am pretty leery about it.

Bought my Elite Founders, and that's it.

....though if you REALLY want me to dig, I've spent nearly $1700 "on" MWO. Bought a gaming laptop for, well, gaming among other things since my old one died shortly after MWO launched Nov 2011 and my PC couldn't run it and wasn't worth upgrading.

The Laptop was TOTALLY worth it. The elite founders? In a way yes...but not as much recently....

wow. There were two, if not more, people in that thread that have spent over $1000 in this game so far.

I'm......I'm.....literally flabbergasted. I don't know what to think. I have spent a considerable amount of my time in other threads knocking heads with the P2W crowd saying how my time is more valuable than my money and I should have the ability to short cut some time-dumps in a game with a little cash influx.

But holy carp. I bought Leg. Founders and one time sale of 2500MC. But a grand? On a soft-release beta product? I. AM. NOT. WORTHY. of my Battletech heritage, apparently.

Now, I fully expect to spend over $1000 on MWO....some where around my 8th or 9th year of playing it if it's still around.

To those of you that have those funds.... o7 /salute!

Sirs;

It includes CPU and Graphics upgrades I wanted, but bought because I wanted in the game. That said, given some recent PGI moves (3rd person...) I'll suspend any more spending until BETA ends. I had hope, I had some faith, now I realize they listen more to people who don't play than those who DO.

I think $90, which is about the price of a new game and DLC, so I can live with it.

I'm up to 280 bucks on this game, worth it imo.

Gotta support the dealer for my habits :)

Just wish that dealer would listen to his customers a little bit more.

$60 for founders and another $30 during some sale. I'd happily spend more once PGI gets their act together.

honestly, I've already spent more money on Star Citizen than on MWO... for which I spent 120$ for founders and 5000 MC on a sale? I don't exactly remember. Anyway, I don't intend to spend more money on the game until they fix some stuff/PGI drops the immobilism (damn, that word doesn't seem to exist in English).

Spent money just to get my Founder's and that's it. Still have MC from it. Turned on my premium time just last month finally. I'm sure I'll eventually spend a little more money to get me a slew of fabulous colors/camo during a sale or something, but at the moment I'm quite happy with all that I've gotten for just that little spent and don't see spending too much more anytime soon.

@theSBGX

Directly on it? Does boggle a tad. legendary founders plus every Hero to date might cost what, $300? Even running non stop Premium since OB would be a drop in the bucket. One would have to go crazy in the paint and cockpit labs and/or just buy CBill mechs like a crazy person.

When one adds peripherals directly precipitated by desire to play MWO? Far too easy. Spent about 1500 building my computer. Decided I wanted a better monitor, so add a 47 in LG 3D smartTV (700 instead of 2000) Decided when not playing with teams, I really wanted to hear my mexh move, so a Energy home theater system (both got for 1/3 retail or less.... 400 system for 69). Hmmm... Need a better seat.... 200. then decided I needed to have access while on vacation. 800 on a laptop. Etc.

Fortunately, I get to use all the above for other things, but this damn game was a big factor in deciding to get all of it)

LOL, the thread-starter might just have to state "money GIVEN to PGI" vs "Money spent on MWO", cos some people are (legitimately?) including their costs of their gaming rig, maintaining their faction/clans websites/servers, etc... cos I know I have or will spend a lot more time/money on BATTLETECH/ Mech-related merchandise-- just NOT on PGI.

$30 for basic founders pack
$30 to upgrade to Elite pack (wanted to start OB with a mech)

$49.95 for 12,000 MC (needed more mech bays and wanted prem tim, still have 8k left)

so about $110 for over 10+ months of playing

120 for all these basic bland beta things so far, 120 more if CW is worth a poo. that's what pgi should think about 240 income from 50,000 founders is a lot for a game. we spent 120 once blindly so we are willing, but it has to be good this time I don't think anyone who has been disappointed with how they spent the first 120 will fall for that again from one company. just spent 160 in ea games over the last week and over 1000 in hardware the last year kinda sorta maybe cuz of this game ffs
