Idea on how to keep your mech/ or lose it in combat.

I think a 2 lobby system would work or this better. the first being a "territory lobby" allowing you to gather lancemates and form companies if desired. Then a second "planet lobby" where you are looking for a battle to participate in. Here is where the topic would apply:



Time of use (rounds played consecutively) for 1 mech. If you play 5 rounds back to back you have a choice in the lobbies between matches. You have a quickfix to immediately get back into battle after repairs are complete, giving you a small XP boost for combat rediness as a perk that is upped with each round choice, (from 4% to 8% to 14% then 20%) but once you have chosen to "quickfix" a 4th time (20%) you are automatically putting your mech at a risk of losing completely if destroyed in combat. If you chose to "opt out", you and any squad mates are pushed back to a lobby selection screen to choose a new battle. This also automatically changes if you use a different mech while in a game lobbly as well.
