Been noticing this a lot since I kitted my spider to be the ultimate scout/sniper.

Spider 5D

ECM
ER PPC+TAG in arm
Med Laser in torso
XL195
DHS
BAP
Sensor Range x2
Target Info (sometimes changed for artillery strike)

So.. I get to high ground and spot stuff out to 1200m or so (able to lock on).

It has been my observation that almost every time I spot the enemy team and relay accurate target data AND tag them from long range... that my team goes into lemming mode and rushes in and dies.

Its just weird. Even when I tell them where they are, what they're doing..they still lemming rush in.

Ive removed the BAP and sensor rangex2 for a time and the team win/loss goes back to an avg 50-50 ... it seems that giving lemmings a target to rush after is counter-beneficial.

Scouting hurts the team. O.o

You're doin it wrong. Instead of giving them a target that will cause them to run headlong into the main enemy force, find a lone enemy or a small group that had broken off from the main body, and use them to direct your team. They follow like lemmings, now lead them to victory.

is more stupid, not stupider. Think of it like, when you say stupider you sound more stupid than the other guy.

Heil Grammar

Spotting is a waste in pugs. Just relay enemy locations. Otherwise you will develop migraines.

thing is, the moment you spot the enemy team it also pops up on their screens. extended sensor range for scouting just lemmings them off. its very sad to see.
