I just received the patch note information Email für the Heavy Metal /artilery/airstrike update (from 02.04.2013). This is not the first time I noticed, that the Information Emails were sent/received quite a while after the actual patch hals already gone live. 1 or 2 hours after is not a problem... but 2 days may be pushing the envelope a little too much .

Could you please check this and fix this minor problem for future updates... It makes more sence to get peoples apitite up for something before it apears instead of after playing 2 days with it ingame already.

I would suspect that the emailed patch notes are meant as a nudge for absent players to come back and check out the changes. This also allows PGI to address any major issues before these players come back and get an overly negative impression, especially with the overload of bandwidth for the first 24-48 hours after the patch.

I would expect that most active players would check out the patch notes on the website while they are patching on Patch Day, making an email about patch pretty much pointless to them.

It wouldn't be a problem if they hadn't moved the location of the patch notes in the forum...

They've sent an email with new end match screen like two weeks to early, so now everything must be delayed untill it evens out
