Some Italian guy, can't remember his name. Dropped an S51 shell on me when I refused to obey his orders in my M24 Chaffee - which is a PASSIVE scout....compared to the T-50-2 which of course is active.

Guy felt he was justified too. If I could punch him in the face through the screen........M24's are very expensive to repair without that sort of hassle........ironically I DID get the scout medal for that battle too....

Oh well, nice website. I shall definitely look you up online for a chat if nothing more :P

We're Steiner, are you seriously asking that question?

In all seriousness though, we actually have a fairly diversified group of pilots, we lean towards heavy and assault, however I for instance, prefer lights and mediums. I've been assigned to one of the 4th Rangers scout lances.

So whatever you'd prefer to do, we'll take you on, we just require activity on the forums, and regular appearances in TS3.

I was looking at your site and saw the Blackwatch regiment.

I'm from Scotland so would be up for joining there. I see they are listed as Veterans though.

Are The Skye Rangers anything to do with the Northwind Highlanders?

Not to worry, we have extensive procedures in place for such behaviour. Beatings, mostly.
Now I get to have the fun of guessing who it was...

Now he is in trouble. Our Ghost is after him. And our Master of Arms is One lady you do not tick off.

I would love to join the Skye Rangers. I ran a SR campaign back in TT in the late 80's, but I want to see the game first and play around with it before I commit. Is that ok with the CO's?

Sure it is just fine. We will be recruiting for a long time to come. We have a pretty high goal that we want to fill out. Considering we are trying to fill out nearly a half a dozen regiments.

Uilleam, I suspect you were referring to the 10SR lore/canon background on our Regiments page. That info was from the old BT Steiner source book. Think of the website as the skeleton which our 'Mechwarriors flesh out...As such, we're not really assigning loyalty or experience ratings to our regiment, at least not until MWO launches and we see how our 'Mechwarriors perform under wartime conditions...which I have no doubt will be superbly.
