Hi everybody,

just some short question and remarks:
  • Knocking over enemy mechs by multiple hits (Rockets or AC gun hits) Isn´t planned? I Just remebers my first Mechs Battles online (I think it wa Mechwarrior3), where everyone was getting the biggest amaount of AC possible on his mech and knocking the enemy over with a single blast! Well after taht your Mech mostly shut down cause of heat if you were not inside of water! LOL that brings me to my second question?
  • Heat! Beeing inside water doesn´t semm to have any effects on Heat management! Is there something planned in that direction?
  • Destruction of one leg, which was considered as very unfair play, resulted in knocking down the enemy mech and its destruction, since the mech couldn´t stand up anymore! Is this planed to be reaplied?
  • and here my Last question, using the jetpack and jumping on an enemys head resulted mostly of the time to its destruction, this also doesnt seem to work anymore. Sadly cause that was a way how light mechs could fight of heavy ones.

  • I believe they've said they want to limit knockdown effects - basically because no one enjoys being trapped in a "stun-lock".
  • Being in the water does help, but only if you have heat sinks in your legs.
  • PGI has been very careful to keep "legging" from being the dominant strategy. I doubt they will make it easier.
  • Damage from collisions (and "Death From Above") is supposed to come into the game at some point. It sounds like it is technically tricky to implement.

Death from above won't be like the tabletop.

It is almost impossible to hit the "head" hitbox in any mech from above.

Mostly going to do torso damage I would think.
