I'm sorry if you dislike this idea and/or topic name but nevertheless, it was and still is needed. Besides of that, the Devs have aother thigns on their minds as well as the problem that if they post something liek this it is completely official. Liek this, it is just information that I have gathered from different dev posts and the official posts that I have linked. Besides of that, there is no problem of the community steping up and helping the devs out. If you are not interested in what I have to say, don't read it.

I actually felt like buying the veteran simply because there were so few of them purchased: it would make me feel special. The official numbers from a few days ago were like 4k Legendary sold, and only tens of Veteran...

There'll be the chance to get one's stuff from a US server to a Euro server... but what about moving back ot the US?
I'll be moving to the states soon and wouldn't want all I've bought to go to naught...

Well as things look right now, we won't be ablet ojump from server to server as we want to. (Since the Devs have stressed the "onetime opportunity" by making it bold).

So, my suggestion would be to just stay on the NA-Server after the start and never migrate to the EU-Server, if you are leaving for the US to stay there for a long time.
If you are only there for some months, then it propably would be better to migrate to EU-Servers.
Maybe you could even wait until you return from the US to migrate.

But in the end, it is your decision to make.

Good info. Though, the dates need to be shifted on each question to reflect all the changes. You seemed to have updated the date on some parts, and not updated it on others, at least going off Russ's post as the one with all the information.
