So MWO simply froze, but I can still the sound in the background, lasers firing n stuff. But the screen simply froze and I cant tell if my inputs are working at all

Same here. Then the psycodelic colors appear after a minute.

OP, I get this once an hour or so. To fix it, just alt-tab back to desktop and then alt-tab back in.

Alt-tab in and out will fix it 75% of the time.
