It runs a tiny bit hot, I had an extra heat sink or two in it before I added FF armour(surprized it fits at all).

Guass+Erppc makes for a nice primary burst(set guass to mouse one and erppc to mouse 2). 3x MLAS for backup, using them on cyclefire since I dropped the extra heatsink, managed to squeeze in an extra ton of guass ammo. Good speed with the elite unlocks.

Thinking about putting the erppc back on the other side, but i like that the primary bust is more condesned.

Using sensor range and target info modules.

Constructive critisim welcome, just not on my grammar or spelling. heh

Enjoy your weekends.

If your planning to snipe with it why dont you feel free to go to an XL engine to free up weight for more ammo/heatsinks. Otherwise your probally better with something like

chiping off a med laser or 2 if you want more speed. It has more dps and burst than your setup with no heat and if i dont waste shots 4 tons gauss ammo easily lasts a match of sniping.

If your going for pure dmg you could grab a

much more dps all pinpoint though your bite only reaches out about 1km which is more than enough for most maps if you want more speed out of it remove 2-3 tons of the ac5 ammo 5 is too much but i dont want to buy a new xl engine

I'd drop the Ferro Fibrous, and add in an XL engine. You'll pick up extra weight for more heat sinks or armor, and the extra speed is fantastic.

Here's a version where I was messing around a bit.

300XL, full armor, dropped a ML but added two heat sinks.

XL's are great, and I bought one after the suggestions. I just dont like getting popped so easily. The cockpit(teehee) is big enough. But the inablity to soakup damage (and not worry about it) with your left and right torso is poop. Surviviability = more pew pew.

Current hybrid im running:

STD 240(elite unlocks, going just over 60kph)
3x LL
1x Guass 4tons ammo
1x DHS
Endo
Ferro
42 Firepower
1.2 Heat
Slight armor tweaks
0 free slots

Im actually really liking this, having only 3 LL makes the heat more managable and I can take my time to palce guass shots while I cool off. Im not super impressed running an ac20 instad of the guass. I get less damage but in return i get range and better heat. Park at 500 meters / medium range and start blasting.

Thoughts?

The Catapult has tiny side torsos anyway, so they're one of the best mechs to run an XL in. Plus you look to be mostly after a sniper build. This is the closest build I would run to yours:

I honestly think AMS is a waste of tonnage for the pitiful amount of missiles it shoots down, unless you're running with people you know are also bringing AMS and you're going to stay near them all the time. Putting the PPC in your other torso means both your sniper weapons are on the same crosshair, and the PPC is better protected. Better to lose a backup laser than a PPC.
