34 tons for an AC-20, PPC, and LBX-10 including 1 ton of ammo each. That can easily fit in a 70 ton mech so yeah it is possible.
7 tons for internal structure
3 tons for cockpit
8 tons for armor
3 tons for gyro
9 tons for a 210 rated engine.
That's without any Lostech at all. It'd be slow and not well armored, but it can fit.

And have 5 shots with the AC/20 and 10 for the LBX. and no chance to switch between clusters and slug shot. Waste of a mech.

(...) Aparently it's not "fun" or proper to be unable to optimose your mechs to suit each individual match. Anyone who argues otherwise is accused of being a dice rolling fanatic who is incapable of understanding how to play online games and should go back to their hex maps and leave computer games to those who truly understand them.
For the sake of immersion, ideally you would just have an 'intel briefing' before each match that gives you a general overview of what to expect. The only problem is that the same maps will be played over and over again, so anyone who has played a given map a few times before will of course have a huge advantage over anyone coming into it cold. This would make any attempt to limit starting information a moot point.
For a 'tournament' game it might be fun to pit two veteran teams against each other with limited information on a fresh map neither have played before though; it would weed out the players that tweak their mechs for specific maps.

Never said I'd use it, but it can be done.
That's all I meant *shrug* I'd never use a Longbow either but there's a growing thread on them too. Personal style and all.
Besides, adding in an XL engine and Endo Steel means you could take more ammo too. There's a /lot/ of wiggle room when it's all oldtech except for the LBX.

I don't think double heat sinks are going to be in the game till next year. Same with FF armor. I could be wrong though, so don't quote me on that.
That seems like a pretty nasty build though.
NAIS had Double heat sinks in serial production in 3041 ... 8 years before the game time line.
As for FF armour ... the combine had it in production in 3040. ... 9 years before the game time line.
Fingers crossed for them being in the game on release.
