One of the things that least inspires confidence in PGI is the way they've dealt with the game imbalance for new players. In that they haven't bothered to deal with it at all.

Now I'm aware they do have several plans in the works on how to best improve the experience for new players...

But that takes time, and we've had months and months of new players just getting destroyed by the incredibly steep learning curve.

We know that in a pressing situation, PGI can hotfix improvements into the game; with the view of using that time to come up with a more elegant and complete solution.

So with that in mind... I can't fathom why PGI hasn't seen fit to give new players with under 50-100 games under their belt their own queue yet.

Really. It's not the most complete solution, but I'll be damned if it isn't a nice and easy temporary fix for the woe that the voiceless new players experience before leaving the game.

Yeah, you'll still get a fair degree of variance in skill level between 0 games and 100 games... but at least you don't get the skill variance that comes from players with 0 games and thousands of games. As it is, new players spawn in those games and are essentially grinder fodder for the higher Elo players, even if the teams themselves have some semblance of balance.

It's just not fun to win when it's you getting destroyed early on and watching other players through their cockpits until the match is over. And less again to lose in the same way.
