And which mechs will you be using (of course )?

I'm getting bored of the old Ilya 3x UAC 3x Mlas setup.... but with missiles in the state that they're in, plus ECM still being around.... that kinda limits my options....

I'm especially interested in hearing from Legendary Founders, since they have the option to choose from any of the Founders mechs.

I'm guessing I'll see relatively few Hunchbacks and Catas... and probably not that many jenners...

Flame with gauss 4mlas and SRM6.

Maybe the C1(F) if I run with a group that doesn't mind LRM's in their current state.

Maybe the YLW with max engine if I feel like doing some AC20 surgery.

I'll be saving up for a Centurion-D which will be my 3rd so I can elite.

Ill be farming hard with my heavy metal this weekend, to save up to buy every highlander upon release.

Switching between poptart 2ppc\gauss 2ssrms

and ground brawler
AC10\3LL\2SRM6+Art

both run xl330s, I didnt expect the XL to be so viable in highlanders, but right now I go 59.4 kph and cant wait for speed tweak

highander seems like a pretty maneuverable mech as well, in terms of twist\turn rate

flame probably 4xLLAS or 2xLPulse/2xMLAS, muromets 3xUAC5/2xMLAS or 2xLLAS/2xAC/5. might try PPCs in it. i'm sure I will get bored with trip UAC5s.

Apparently my Founder Hunch is 50% again.

3x AC2 is fun, but not very powerful. A single AC10 is better for most circumstances, although not for raw damage. Of course, the AC10 requires me to either buy a different engine than the 200xl in there, or just waste tonnage on nothing.

So, I might run the mech with three AC2, or I might run with one AC10. I really hate that mech, and hate that machine guns are not worth using.

I'll be running my Highlander for the most part. I've got a Gauss, 3 ML, and SRM6+A build that so far is working pretty well for me. Although there is no benefit to it whatsoever... you'll likely see me in my Spider-5D quite a few matches as well this weekend just for the lulz.

Founder's Jenner! Whoo! I almost never pilot it anymore, I've owned it so long. My current build is with an XL280, quad medium lasers, and dual SRM-4s. Another decent build on the big maps is to replace the SRMs with dual LRM-5s and run around at medium ranges being kitey as ****.
I don't own any hero mechs yet. Don't know if I ever will, none of them have given me the itch to get em to date.

Bummer that you don't like your Hunchie. I'd had fun with the triple AC/2s when I owned a 4G, but lately I've realized that group firing them is better than chain fire because the cool down rate is faster than the chain fire can cycle. You might want to try dual AC/5s and some medium lasers. I also saw a video where a guy was shooting at a stationary Cicada with his Hunchie and even though the reticules were on the mech, the shots were going high and left of it, missing completely. The mech has accuracy issues, so close to medium range brawling is best until they get that crud fixed.
