Instead of implementing something to profit off of next patch, just fix the damn bugs.

edit: I just love how you guys keep implying that it takes no programming to implement new content. All I want here is a patch dedicated to bug fixes.

They are working on fixing bugs, different people do different things, if a 3d modeler has some extra time why shouldn't he make some mc items or do some modeling on a hero mech? Would you rather he just sit there do nothing while waiting for people to fix bugs that have little to no consequence to whether or not he can do his job.

Yes, I get that, but it doesn't work. I guess it's because one group cannot keep up with the other. There are many old bugs that needs fixing and the team working on new stuff are only adding to this.

It's only an assumption, but based on the current state of the game...I dunno if the core of it is true, but the RESULT is obviously the same. You can currently see it in almost every single match! So for us players it makes no difference, we only see the outcome and it's bad at the moment.

I totally know a guy who programmed once and he could do it in like an hour and WHAT'S THIS? The teams that work on new content are SEPARATE to those who work on bugs and the like? BEGONE WITH YOUR REASONED EXPLANATIONS. This is the MWO forums.

Saying the outcome is bad is very subjective, I really haven't had any terrible problems with the game in quite some time but I do undestrand that there are still bugs that need to be fixed that have been there since closed beta but I still enjoy the game. The point I'd like to make is that I can't think of any scenario where slowing the cash inflow would be productive, as a company they need money for their workers and to possibly hire more workers to work on bug fixes. Telling the company to stop trying to make money in my mind is asinine.

I was actually quite specifically referring to the current HUD bugs. Not one game without one of them (there are several). They were introduced yesterday with a 700kb patch. That's what I call "ressourceful". :)

Ok, heres my current testing results after a new MWO install:
+ 50% c-bill boost for hero mechs
- 50% reduction in FPS

+ No hud bugs "yet"
- Game is constantly stuttering
- Players teleporting
- Completely unplayable due to the above

In my opinion, i had 60 FPS solid before this hotfix, now, its 15-25. As each player dies, it goes up by 2fps. Good code, well tested!

Again, this new code has been rushed out. Not tested correctly before being released to the public(again!)

Its gone from "just about playable", to , "unplayable" but hey, we got a 50% cbill bonus. Shame the game prevents us from actually "enjoying" that experience.

Cant wait to see next patch, +50% MC reduction?, wonder what the downside will be. Its like a mystery gift from you guys!

In fairness, they are on a schedule, and their investors/higher ups/certain rabid fans would crucify them from "slacking" in that department.

True, but if you want to keep the investors/playerbase:
- Apply sales change request by investors.
- Leave out any fixes/updates unless they have been "tested".

Just seems to me there is a lack of communication between the game dev team. The clearly visible lack of internal QA isnt spotting basic game issues, those issues are then passed down to the customer.

Not the way a game should be produced, in my opinion.
Beta, yes, we understand. Does this excuse the recent onslaught of basic gamebreak bugs? I'am sure the investors will find out soon enough when the money stops coming in.

This is like going to a car company and complaining to the guy that installs windows that you don't want leather seats in your car.

Art & Content teams have nothing to do with Programing and Bug Fixes.
