A Few Things We Seem To Be Missing...

1st. A Mouse sensitivity adjustment. Seems like a no-brainer here, I would really like to be able to adjust the sensitivity of my mouse pointer in game, especially since it seems to go from choppy to smooth at a whim. At the very least the game should have its own sensitivity control separate from your normal windows settings.
2nd. An after-action report. I get really tired of having to wait until the battle ends if I wish to know the outcome. If I get fragged early I would like to be able to bounce to another mech and play it, but still be able to come back and see the results from the battle I left. If nothing else a win/loss and a score should be a minimum. Perhaps you should steal from WoT's playbook on this one.
3rd. A toggle arm lock function. Sometimes I want my arms locked, sometimes I don't. Having to go into options to change it kinda blows, especially if you want to do it in-game. Please make it a hotkey so sometimes I can feel like a nut, and sometimes I don't.
4th. HUD adjustments. Id really like to play with the color of my reticle. Different shapes and sizes would be nice too. This would be especially true if you could have a different reticle, ya know smaller and all, when zoomed in.
I know there's a couple more little interface things I just can't think of them right now... Maybe my colleagues will.

For #3 you can hold left shift to switch your arm lock mode - but it would be nice to have an option for a toggle instead of a hold.

The only one in that list I care about. I hate the colors and stuff in use at the moment

Shift key on the left. It locks your arms when you have arm lock off.

Multiple settings. One for in game, one for in menus.

The key word being TOGGLE. I want to be able to switch it on and off without having to hold down a key. My fingers are already busy enuf mashing buttons to add another one that now I need to hold down. Plus I'm getting older and it bothers the arthritis...

Make a macro on your tab key

4th. HUD
1 = Yeah, a FPS without mouse sens, wet kipper.
4 = As the hud is broken most of the time, i'd rather have a fully working HUD 1st, then colour options (dont even think about charging MC for it)

Or, of course, switching out to FORUMS, logging in to my profile, and check my stats OUT OF GAME to see how I did. I do thank PGI for the stats tracking, they are a good first step. But please move them in-game.
Ideally, the combat log would show what it does now, with another tab for weapons fired, accuracy, damage dealt. They track that already obviously, but it would help a lot in improving my mech 'builds' if it was available in-game, match by match.
The second UI need I can think of is the mouse scroll wheel. At one point it was available for things like selecting weapons groups (I had mine set up for that), then one of the patches came along (this was still in closed beta) and mouse wheel didn't work any more.
After making the mouse wheel work, PLEASE set the Zoom Function to zoom in/zoom out so we can use the mouse wheel for that. The current zoom-state-rotate system is VERY cumbersome.
Thanks,
Badger

Mouse wheel zoom control would be pretty sweet. Now if we could just get them to treat the advanced zoom as just another level of zoom instead of a mini-window...

ETA: I see your point, I just think that would be a wasted option imo.

Yeah I know I could go back to the old throttle controls, but to be honest I prefer the new ones and would just like them to have a cruise control.
