Say... Did anyone here ever play Neveron?
I played that religiously for a while, got research and production up. Had a few Wasps that were earning me money in the arenas, and life was looking good. Then people started getting savvy that I didn't have too much in the way of defenses and a lot of facilities they could use and attacked me. I tried for alliances, but it was too little too late. I should instead have told their enemies about my technology to try and get them fighting each other to keep one another from getting a hold of my assets, thus buying time to build a better military. But I didn't know this at the time and my little empire fell. It was a fun game.

I pactically lived in the Walnut Creek Virtual World and still have my battle sheet in storage somewhere. I am a Founders Member of the Virtual World Explorer League (1500 Matches). Sitting in the pilots lounge and watching the match highlights was a blast. NeonKnight is right about the scramble to get your weapons set up before you deploy. I also played in the Tesla pod version later.
I'm going to have to look, for.....MY VHS COPY OF MY ROUNDS PLAYED!
I know I no longer have the score sheets, and even a recent a few years ago, I threw out he training manuals for the game (both versions)

But I'm fairly confident I still have the VHS copy.

Not surprising. Most people are too lazy to play games that require you to keep stats and do hundreds of calculations in your head per game. I'd say it was a huge win for the TT/RPG games to be on the list at all.

Crescent Hawks Inception was a fun game... but unlisted. How many other games might pit a group of people on foot with RPGs against a mech, and if I remember correctly allow stock trading at ComStar?

While not an "uber-geek" I still have piles and pile of BT cards in my basement. Battletech minis are what got me into mini games in the first place.
It all started one day when my friend took out his Hot-tomato-N-cheese and I got to play around with a Battlemaster.
