I'm trying to figure out how to do this with a programmable keyboard, but it occurs to me it might be better to have it in-game...

In short, allow us to create and key bind short chat commands in the options page to facilitate communication in PUG's.

Being able to hit F1 and have "Target Alpha" go out over Team chat, or "Enemy spotted my location" would allow better team work amongst non-VOIP puggers without having to spend precious seconds typing it out while under fire and without losing mech control because you are in chat mode.

Keyboard-activated voice alerts are already in the game files -- they just haven't been activated yet. They are apparently in a male voice.
