Narc Ideas

as it is now we need more variety in builds. NARC is unloved by many cos of its weight and limited ammo. so i propose the following ideas:

1) NARC only should provide an artemis-like bonus to missiles.

2) NARC + TAG should provide the best acc bonus to missiles. almost full center on hits and should be better than artemis + TAG only if in LOS. when out of LOS the NARC bonus is slightly reduced. reduces srm wave movement significantly.

3) NARC + artemis shouldnt stack. artemis should overwrite the NARC bonus.

4) add 1 or 2 more shots per ton for NARC.

5) NARC vs ECM should not render NARC totally useless. instead, landing a NARC round on an ECM or ECMed mech should display its location in spans of 2-4 secs and blink in and out of the map as long as ur outside ECM range and as long as the NARC pod is stuck to that mech.
a) not sure if this is how it works now but ill say it anyway. if a NARC pod is attached to a non ECM mech, the beacon acts as a tracking device. friendlies can target and lock on it.

6) NARCed targets can be locked on to faster and display target information 50% faster.

now to rebalance other things like artemis to make NARC even more appealing:

1) artemis + TAG shouldnt be full on center hits. instead make it so that all missiles will hit at most 2 section sizes only. spiral effect on artemis should be unique to itself only.

2) TAG only / artemis only / NARC only and within LOS should provide the same acc bonus.
