There is plenty of terrain that is not "glitched," yet easier to go over if you have JJs. I'm learning this now that I am actually using one.

Best example, getting out of the water in River City. Sure, there are lots of places you can walk/run up. If you have 1 JJ in the HM you can get out lots more places to pursue enemies. 1 JJ is even enough to let you jump out of the Forest Colony river on the west part of the map, where you otherwise may need to do a lot of walking to climb out. That is valuable time saved -- time when a damaged enemy could be getting away.
