$220 seams to be the the price point intel aims at for that first K series CPU. As i remember my 2500K was 229 or so and the newest version is about that same price point. I am looking to get into a new MB and CPU next summer (video card on list this year) and this looks pretty good

The same May release date news for the 700 series is hitting all the major sites including Tomshardware. Whislt the source may not be concrete, lets all hope its the real deal.
