PPC's need a nerf. 6 ppc stalkers and poptarts have become the most popular builds in the game, and rightly so. A skilled pilot can easily take out the majority of the enemy team quickly and at an extreme range. 8 mans have become nothing but PPC duals.

But im not suggesting to weaken the weapon, or make it less heat efficient. i actually think the weapon is exactly where it needs to be. there is always guna be an 'op weapon'. rather then constantly nerfing a weapons dmg or heat why not limit the number of 'op weapons' a mech can carry. you could even diversify the limit between specific mechs. EX: Stalker 5S-limit 2 ppc, Stalker 3F-limit 1 ppc. this would be a great way to diversify the mech builds even more then just adding an additional AMS to 5S.

This could also work for the other 'Cheese Builds' such as Dual AC-20/Guass Jagermech, Catapault, and Cataphracts.if they ever balance out the SRM's again the srm cat could be limited to the number of SRM 6's it could carry.

Im shur this topic has been brought up before but i feel as though it should be touched on again, due to the current state of the game.

I agree that the problem exists, but I think we need a more elegant solution. A hard limit on stacking weapons would fix the problem, true, however it would be akin to treating a broken arm by amputation.

We should solve the problem, not simply alter the game so that it can't be done in the first place.
