There's no problem if you shoot me. But Lordred's the camera man, he usually doesn't start fighting until after I'm dead. ;)

Awesome, beautiful, dramatic photos. I have nothing but respect. As a photographer I know when I look at something good, and this is great. What does one have to do for you to snap a picture of my mech so I can use it as wallpaper in my computer?

I can attest to this. I've been in matches against the pair of you a few times, and while fun things have never really gone well for me :D

Thanks, I also pretend to be a photgrapher in my free time, I have a now older Nikon D80 with a few sigma lenses, 15-32 wide, 28-70 macro, 70-200 macro.

As for shots, try to track me down in game, or send me a pm for better ways to contact me.

In the heat of battle, it's easy to miss the finer details. Taking time to look at these screen shots, shows just how aesthetically beautiful this game is.

My mind is blown. How do you take such quality pictures especially the moon? Do you have like a really good telescope or what?

Speaking of which, I should get myself a telescope. I always wanted to be an astronomer. :)

We went into the field. Got lots of shots. Going to take even more in 1 hour.

Lordred says he has lots of excellent shots, so should be some huge screenshot dumps soon. But for now, food!

I am the White Illya Muromets with the black stars.

I am also the Founder's Atlas in both the River City and Frozen City night scenes.

Below, I'm the Cyan woodland Atlas K, and the Buccaneer Spider.

Off topic

The Nikon D80 is a 10mp camera from 2006, but it uses a full sensor which gives it very good image quality as well as color, I happen to be lucky enough to have high quality EX glass Sigma lenses, in wide aspect, standard zoom, and a telescopic lens.

A lot of it is patients, and using the camera on manual mode and knowing how long to have the shutter open, how much ISO to be using, and how wide or narrow the aperture should be at any given moment.

Please forgive the low quality shots, my phone's camera is quite horrid.

Atlas Edition.

Spoiler

That first atlas picture is one the most screenshot worthy pictures that i have seen in this thread. If it had the glowing red eyes from the closed beta, I would have to retire my shutdown catapult in underground river city screen saver! Maybe you can get a shot of the old atlas eyes from closed beta and graft it onto that picture? That would be awesome!

T'was my Founder's Atlas. It only has one eye. Founder's eye glowed blue as I recall or was it green? It was something unique. Atlases used to glow red as mentioned. The regular Atlases do have specular shining eyes that glow in direct light even now, though. (Lordred took some shots that make them shine).

I'm sure Lordred could do an edit along those lines pushing in the glowy eye. However the goal of the thread has only been to show the game at its best ~medium~ settings with no more than saturation, brightness and contrast changes.

The best of medium is only until High and Very High actually get enabled and work. The settings "High" and "Very High" are just placeholders and hold very little difference from medium graphics. It's been said we'll see them start re-introducing high-end graphics features over the upcoming months, with DX 11 being sometime in July.

(Re-reading that: The shut down Catapult underground river city is also me if I'm not mistaken. Two or 3 shades of gray?)

You can call him "Odin"... or "One Eye Willy" if you like that better.
